Every year, on October 11th , International Day of the Girl Child- IDGC organises various events the world over, aiming to aware people of the girl child, primarily to empower every girl child and innovating her for education. This year also, on October 3rd, 2013, IDGC in collaboration with Cycle City Network Nepal- KCC2020 organised a bicycle rally from Basantapur Durbar Square to Patan Durbar Square.
The event was simultaneously organized in Dharan by Dharan Cycle City.
